By creating an account, playing Sound Sleuth, or making a purchase, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the service. These terms may be updated from time to time; continued use constitutes acceptance of changes.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 13 years old to use Sound Sleuth. If you are under 18, you represent that you have parental or guardian consent. Accounts suspected to belong to users under 13 may be suspended without refund.
3. User Conduct
You agree NOT to:
Use offensive, hateful, or explicit language in usernames, display names, or challenge messages.
Exploit bugs, automate gameplay, or interfere with leaderboards or challenge outcomes.
Attempt to access other users accounts or admin areas.
Reverse-engineer, scrape, or redistribute puzzle content.
Share answers publicly in a way that spoils the Daily Challenge before others have played.
Create multiple accounts to gain unfair advantage or manipulate leaderboards.
4. Purchases, Packs & Refunds
Expansion packs and bundles are sold via Stripe. Prices are listed in USD and are final at the time of purchase.
Premium Categories — Music, History, Geography, Pop Culture, TV Shows, Famous Quotes. $1.99 each.
Bonus Categories — Top Hits 80s and Top Hits 90s. Unlocked after 5 consecutive wins in Free Play, or purchased via the Top Hits Bundle ($2.99).
Standalone Packs — Bible Edition ($3.99) is standalone and is NOT included in the All Access Bundle.
All Access Bundle — Unlocks all Premium and Bonus categories at a discounted price. Does not include standalone packs.
All purchases are final. Refunds are only granted if the pack fails to unlock due to a verified technical fault on our end.
Purchases are tied to your account. They do not transfer between accounts.
If your account is terminated for violating these terms, you forfeit access to purchased content without refund.
5. Intellectual Property
All puzzles, scrambles, artwork, sound design, and code are owned by Sound Sleuth. You are granted a limited, non-exclusive license to play the game. You may not copy, modify, or resell puzzle content.
6. Challenge Arena & Multiplayer
Challenge Arena lets you create and join competitive puzzle matches with friends or public players.
All players in a challenge receive the same set of puzzles under the same rules.
Challenge results are calculated automatically by the server. Disputed results are final.
Public challenges are visible to all players. Invite-only challenges are sent to selected friends.
Abandoning an active challenge session may result in an automatic forfeit.
7. Account Suspension
We reserve the right to suspend or delete accounts that violate these terms, abuse the payment system, harass other players, or exploit game mechanics. Suspension decisions are final.
8. Disclaimer
Sound Sleuth is provided as-is without warranties of any kind. We are not liable for lost streaks, leaderboard positions, challenge outcomes, or device compatibility issues. Your statutory rights are not affected where applicable by law.
